About the Garza Foundation

The Garza Foundation is a legacy for Manuel Fernando Garza Jr. Manuel spend almost 13 years on Texas death row for an accidental crime and was murdered by the state on April 15th, 2015.

One of the things that was really important to him was that he wanted to make a difference for children who have been in trouble with the law for the first time and homeless children in San Antonio, Texas. He was born and raised in San Antonio himself.

Manuel knew himself how it felt to feel like your by yourself in this world. The children need to know people care about them and be shown the goodness of this world. The children are our future, what we teach them they will be.

The foundation is run by Manuel's wife and friends.
